Shrimps

I've never been able to get a scarlett cleaner shrimp or coral banded shrimp to stay alive in my tank. I love my peppermints though. I'm planning on getting a pistol shrimp though. Would a half Crushed coral half live sand bed be good for sand sifters?

whatever you plan on doing, shrimp need to be acclimated very slow because they are extremely sensitive to pH/ salinity shock. i would reccommend acclimating over a period of 2-4 hours using the drip method!

better to go with a dead sand if LS is out of price range the CC will rise above the sand that you have and you still end up with a CC bed.
or go all LS sand sifters need the smaller grain to be benifical as well.
