Shrooms

Nice sharp scalpel, razor blade etc and cut it just at the rock face. Or if you don't want them to grow back in that spot dig the rock around the base out, this is fairly easy as the rock is pretty soft usually.

Ok, so if I cut it at the base it'll grow back? If I place the cut piece on the sandbed with little flow it should attach itself to the sand and I can glue it to a different rock right

Yep. I use a small plastic container with fishnet over the top to keep it from blowing around. My last palys took about 2 months to attach. Longest ever. They just didn't want to stick. I was glad I put them in a container. My metallic green shrooms will hook up in a matter of days.
