Depends.
What type of anemone are we talking about?
Is it new to the tank?
As long as it is coming out during the day and getting some light then it could be fine. It could just be acclimating itself to the lights on its own terms.
What is the lighting you have?
Did it come from a similar tank with similar light setup or is your better?

All of my anemones tend to shrivel up and hide at night. One thing I have found out about anemones is we commonly mistake them to be cessile critters. In fact, they do move around and do all kinds of weird color/shape changes. My advice is don't move it, let it do its thing.
