i have a wet dry. no fluval...?? what isa baffle. if i could find the problem dont you think i would fix it? should i just get a new hose? this hose is less tehn 2 months old.. the hose is very tight on the pump and on the j tube that is spitting out the bubbles into the tank.

If it's not a lose connection and if it is not a hole in the tube then it could be that the pump is letting air in or pass through. If the pump is totally submerged then can you tell us if you have bubbles in your wet dry section that has the pump? What Saltn00b was saying by baffle I think would be like "dividers" where you can isolate area's of the sump or wet dry so the pump is located in a calmer area without bubbles. Salt - if I was wrong sorry for the poor translation.

another thought.... are you filling the return tube and j tube completely? If the diameter changes from small to large and if for some reason you have air at the end in the J-tube you could be mixing air at that end.

i have the j tube part held on by 2 metal clamps. there are no bubbles in the part of my wet dry where the pump is. if i was to get a new pump, j tube, and tubing could that fix it? and how much would it cost. curently the pump i have is a mag drive 350gph.
