My Black anemonefish(clown) is sick. I noticed the other day she had raised scales that were a grey color. Thinking pos. ick, i did a coppersafe dip. Seemed to be better. The next day i see that she is at the bottom of the tank swimming in cyrcles. hummm..and not eating now. The next day she is at the top of the tank swimming sideways sticking her head out of the water.. Now im thinking gill paracites. The local fish store says to put her in the hos. tank with coppersafe for 1 week. ugh.... I hate that stuff. If anyone has any info. on what it could be and how to help her I would be greatful.
P.S she will only eat out of my hand. Thanks. hana

Hi Hana, first thing I need to ask is what your water levels are? If he is at the top of the tank struggling, I would think that you have elevated levels of ammonia or nitrite, or your pH is low. Could you post your pH, kH (alkalinity), ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, salinity, and temperature?

Its a 80 gal. tank with the clown, yellow tang, hippo tang, 2 fire fish, lawn mower, mandarin, 2 cleaner shrimp, sand sifter, clam, and 4 little light blue-ish group fish. The clown is the only one sick.
