Sick clown?

My false perc is losing color on his front white stripe. It almost looks like a flesh colored patch where the white is gone. I will try to get a pic in a few minutes, but I want to know if anyone has any idea what could be wrong with him. He is acting normal and eating fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

See if you can post a picture. How is the fish doing aside from this problem?

He was acting fine and eating. I didin't get the pic, but the strangest thing. Today he looks perfectly fine. Any ideas?

Well, hard to say. Perhaps some sort of stress that caused the color to fade.

My LFS said that it was probably some kind of fungus and that they can rid themselves of it with good health and nutrition.
