sick fish

I just started a salt water tank up. My tank is only a 35 gallon tank. I have 2 clownfish, choc. chip starfish, sand starfish, royal gramma and a banner fish. I think my banner fish has ich. I don't have another tank at this time. What should I do??? I think the fish has had ich for 7 days. I thought it was salt on it's fins until it's whole body started with the white dots. Please help me!!!!

Do you have LR, corals, other inverts than what you mentioned?

I have live rock in the tank. I called the pet store the lady told me to buy something called noxick. Have you heard anything about that medicine??? I need help before my fish die.

BETH I HOPE YOU OR SOMEONE COULD E-MAIL ME ABOUT MY ICK PROBLEM VERY SOON. I JUST SPOKE WITH A LADY FROM THE PET STORE SHE TOLD ME SINCE I HAVE LIVE ROCK SAND AND STARFISH IN MY TANK TO TAKE ALL MY FISH OUT AND PUT IN A CONTAINER USE THE WATER FROM MY TANK AND USE THE NOXICH MEDICINE. THEN LEAVE FISH IN CONTAINER WITH MED. FOR 1HR. PUT MY FISH BACK IN REGULAR TANK AND DO THIS PROCESS FOR 3 DAYS. I NEED SOME ADVISE BEFORE I DO THIS. I REALLY DON'T TRUST HER. I'VE BEEN READING THAT ICH CAN LIVE ON LIVE ROCK FOR A SHORT TIME , SO IF I PUT MY FISH BACK IN THE TANK CAN THEY STILL CATCH ICH?? :help: :help:

My feeling is that would be a waste of time and perhaps harmful to your tank.
The best treatment is hyposalinity, but you can not perform that in your tank. Can you setup a QT for your fish? Or do you have a QT? Please take a look at the FAQ Thread and the topics on ich and hyposalinity.
