Sick Fowleri Tang, Need Help

Hi Everyone,
I picked up this Fowleri Tang from a LFS. It was in very good condition and had been at this place for over a month without any problems. The LFS had the fish in Copper water for treatment. The fish was in QT for 2-3 weeks and no signs of problems. Once put in the display tank, the fish started to have signs of red blood spots or decaying lips. I was hoping if people had any ideas on what to do to try to help. All parameters are normal except for a reading of 5 nitrates with a Salifert. I am doing water changes to help bring this down more and have a Turf Scrubber running. No fish are showing signs of aggression towards him and he is a very strong eater. Everything I put in the tank he eats. I am feeding with mysis shrimp, algae, squid, clam, formula 1 and Formula Angel, plus dosing with zoe. His mouth seems to be getting better than last week and there are no other signs of the fish being sick or acting weird or unhealthy.
I would like to keep him in the DT as long as possible and if any medications are required, hopefully they would be DT compatible.
If you need a full size picture, PM me and I will get you one.
Thank you in advanced

that is a cause of concern, but at this point I would not do anything drastic. Leave him be and see how it progresses. If it gets worse, take him out and put him in a hospital tank with formalin or Myracin 2

Thanks Ccampbell.
Any idea as to what may be the cause of this? If at all possible, I would like to know or better understand how to prevent something like this in the future. Could it be a bacteria infection? I know that Myracin 2 helps with bacteria infection; if I am unable to get him out of the tank, am I able to put that medication in the DT?
Thank you!

I plan on doing a 23% water change today or tomorrow. He is still active as ever and has not shown any signs of discomfort or disease else where.
Feel free to offer any ideas you may have as to the cause and treatment of this particular condition.
Thanks!
