Sick foxface, please help?

It appears my new foxface lo from this site is sick (he just arrived today). I introduced him fine, but when I turned on the tank lights a few hours later I noticed the problem... he seems to have two spots on one side where hes missing scales. These do not seem like open wounds, they are not red or irritated - simply bare spots. The rest of his body has a glossy metallic sheen, but these two spots are bare. Im mainly concerned about the fact that his color seems a bit faded and he wont eat. I see no signs of ick. Attached are the best pics I could take with my digital camera. Please take a look and tell me what you think asap. By the way, I have no QT tank, and this fish is about 6"... what should I do? Thanks you guys, Im really worried.

I see the missing scale spots but otherwise he does look heathy to me as well.
Keep trying to feed him, use small sheets of nori if available, put it on a clip so that it there for him all the time, mine used to love the stuff.
Check your water paramiters to make sure everything is in order.
Try to keep him as stress free as possible.

Please look very closely, the spots are hard to see since theyre only missing scales. The spots are on its side, in the yellow portion of his body. They dont photograph well, and I have a bad camera.

I can see the two spots just fine. Looks like net damage or it bumped a rock. It looks perfectly healthy to me.
