Sick Leather PIC

Well,
This rott started with just the tip and the LFS said to cut it off. I did and now it is rotting more towards the base? Has any one had this problem? Should I cut it all the way back to the base. Leave it alone?

Sorry to say mine started that way and was completely rotted within a couple weeks. The fish actually started picking at it.

Did you try any drastic action? I wonder if I could slice with a razor and seal it?

I would frag any health pieces that you can and put them well away from that piece.

I have never fragged leather. Just razor right near the fork at the base and sew both to a rock?

By the time I realized what to do it was too late. I would definately try cutting off the bad stuff or fragging the good. If it starts to go, do yourself a favor and take it out cuz it gets a little smelly as it rots.

Smell it first if start smelling then cutt off the rotting part it can still regrow and come back.
