Sick Leather W/Pic

OK attached are some pics of my sick leather...Last week I noticed some spots on it...had a type of iodide and did a dip. I ordered Lugols Solution and Reef Dip (got them today)
The first pic is with the spots
rest are today
WHAT DO I DO NOW??

Doesn't look too bad. Now that you have the Lugols read the directions and do a dip and see where that takes you.

I have lugols and also seachem reef dip...I figured since I had to order...might as well get both
ANyway...rememberthe pics last week? One hour it looks like the above pic..and the next it has some polyps

I read the lugols...sounds easy enough...it says to dip for 10-15 minutes though...
have you ever done this?

Nope! But read where plenty have. I am of the opinion that if it says do it for 10 - 15 minutes I do it for five tops. then rinse it in some tank water and put it back in to see what happens. Just that kind of guy I guess.

OK...back to the leather....uh..leather coral that is...LOL
Ok...I'll try 5 minutes in the morn and see what happens

It also says 40 drops to 1 gallon of aquarium water...glad I know what water to use
Should I use 40 drops?....why not 20 to 1/2 gallon...the leather isn't that big

This is from 10:30 p.m. (CT) You can look at this when you get up in the morning...I'm off on Fridays...so you know I'll be sleeping late...LOL

LOL...well it's 11 p.m. and I just cleaned the skiller cup, cleaned the micron pad and changed the carbon...I JUST COULDN'T WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW
Now I think I'll go to bed.....

It's very confusing...it looks like that part of the time, and then it looks like the pic earlier

It never did that before..yes the polyps went in sometimes, but it never looked like the other above pic.
