Nope. Only one other...a bit smaller and already doing the submissive shimmy.
She's still breathing rapidly and stays off to the side and low in the tank.
No visible signs of abuse or infection....
Thanks for any advice....
I've lowered the SG to 1.023 to help a bit.
She won't eat anything I offer.
Anemone looks good, mushrooms, shrimps, etc all look good.

He's being harassed by the other clownfish in that picture. Do you have a QT? If so, move him there for now. If not, make the move to the 240. The 240 will certainly provide a lot more territory where hopefully he'll not be in the way of the established ocellaris.

I'm sorry, but the video belongs to original poster. I have two aquacultured ocellaris from SWF. They appeared to get along fine for over a month....I have not seen any abuse nor any physical signs of disease/abuse. Please review and let me know my options....leave her in 24g and be hopeful, or move to 240g with 2 other ocellaris.
THANKS!!!!
I appreciate it!

Well, I moved the ocellaris to my home tank.....240g reef. Acclimated for 3 hours. lights off early tonight.
She's still breathing hard and is timid.
Don't know what else to do.
The tank at work (her original home) is still doing well.
There are 2 other ocellaris in the 240g reef at home. I am hoping they leave her alone (She is the smallest of the 3)
I have multiple BTA's so maybe she can find refuge in one of them.....
VERY Frustrated...

I would be frustrated too, as there does not seem to be a reason for the fish to be doing poorly.
Good luck, nevertheless!

Thanks Mr. Lion.
Her color is better today, and MAYBE her respirations aren't as fast.....maybe it's just wishful thinking....
Will keep an eye on her.
I've never heard of it, but could the bicolor blenny be the one picking on her?

Still breathing like she swam the English channel. Haven't seen her eat yet. Color is good and she's hanging out in the front of tank...Her new friends don't seem to bother her...
I wonder if it was the bicolor blenny in the old tank? :notsure:

Still breathing hard. Color good, everyone else good. Won't eat. Did some white 'poo-poo' earlier....no harrassment in the 240g that I've seen.
Has seemingly adopted some GSP's as a host.
Wish she would stop hyperventilating....

White poo and heavy breathing are signs of stress and malnurishment. Also could be a virus internally, but not likely. How long have you had this fish and what are you feeding her (sorry, came to this thread late)

Aquacultured ocellaris from SWF.com. Have had her over 6 weeks. Recently moved her to my 240g passive reef because she was extremely stressed (stayed in corner, rapid breathing, darkened coloring, vacated her BTA) in her 'home' tank which is my 24g nanocube at work and I could not identify any problem at all. (She was with another ocellaris and she was the dominant female) All levels WNL.....
Other inhabitant was a bicolor blenny.
She did fine for over 5 weeks, then 'something happened'
Well, she's in my home tank now, breathing might be a bit better, her color has improved and she has a lot of room/security/etc now. I see no signs of harrassment. My two ocellaris have 'invited' her to join them in their BTA's, but she just stays by one of my GSP areas.
Can't get her to eat anything....spectrum pellets with garlic, frozen 'prime reef', Ocean Nutrition formulas 1 and 2, mysis, fortified brine, etc.
She's not 'frail' or 'thin' YET.
I think her stress is better, but want her to eat.....
As stated above, all levels are WNL.
Couldn't put her in my QT---it is occupied with 40 lbs uncured live rock and I'm struggling with the ammonia/nitrites in it.
THANKS
