I have a mated pair of perculas. I have had them for two weeks. The tank has been cycled for 3 weeks or so. 55 Gal., 10 lbs live rock, 60 lbs base rock. Ammonia 0, Nitrates 10, nitrites 0, SG: 1.021.
The larger of the two perculas has gotten exceptionally lethargic over the last 2-3 days. He has been fairly active ever since I got him, so this is a change. He doesn't seem to be eating well either.
I may be being paranoid, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I fed them flakes for the first week, and then began alternating flakes with frozen brine shrimp every other day. It seemed like his change in appetite coincided with the introduction of the shrimp. Now he doesn't seem to want to eat either one. The other clown is doing fine, so I am totally baffled.
Again... this may be nothing. As a new "parent" I'm simply trying to be cautious. (feel free to tell me I'm imagining the whole thing)
Thanks in advance for the help.
