sick puffer????

My puffer fish has begun to hang at the bottom of the tank and is not eating as normal. He seems to be breathing harder but still eats smaller amounts and swims around a little. Any ideas what could be wrong?

is it possible your so called puffer is a drug addict and he's suffering from withdrawl symptoms?

Check out some sick symptoms page, match em up, throw em in a QT and treat the fishie

My puffer was always in a pout, she can't stand change. Most often she would get like that if the pH was getting too low or high. But you need to act fast because if it isn't that, the hard breathing is the first sign of something more serious sometimes, and after a few days, if not fized usually leds to death. I hope that everything turns out alright.
