sifting critter?

You with a pair of long stick. (Joke). Seriously, I thought about this long and hard and I can't imagine anything SIFTING crushed corals! My goby does good job on fine sand sifting but I suppose it won't do CC. :rolleyes:

what about a horseshoe crab? or c.c. starfish?

Hello, I have a 5 stripe goby which does a great job of sifting the cc. When i first got him i came in a few hours later and my tank was all cloudy, thought i would have to get rid of him from doing to much sifting. well he has calmed down a little but still constantly sifts throuh the CC. The only problem is you need to make sure all your LR is stable since they constantly move the cc around.
