Silly- but gotta know... do you go fishing?

I fish socially but only with old college mates and could care less about the catch. Last good fishing we were in walmart wet suites we bought earlier, at 3:45am pouring rain and semi drunk as all get out and it was good fun. I only do it because one of my best friends is a marine biologist who lives on the water an is obsessed with fishing. All I've ever caught around here are croakers but on a few occasions I've caught rays and eels (then cut the line, not messing with either of those). Have caught several bay crabs that were too stubborn to come off my baited hook even though I've brought it clear out of water and onto the pier (those susequently chopped up and used as fish bait).

most of of here fish.....we also keep fish...
the cheaper the fish is the less we tend to take care of it...
if a fish costs 200$ its a loyal pet

i love to fish but i never catch anything...i just like hangin out with buddies with some beer and beef jerky...i actually have a fish that has caught more fish then i have..here he is..

hes caught about 5 or 6 guppies...but now i just feed him frozen stuff so no more fishing for him..

I love fishing especially for Trout or Salmon but they all go back. Even when I catch big trophy sizes I take pictures and then put them back.

fished lots in hawaii. not trophy hunting but to eat and i think ive eaten alot of whats in peoples tanks!

edit: for some reason i cant seem to post the weapon used to fish. think long stick with a spike on the end. guess its a dirty word on these boards
