Silly / Playfull question

what would happen if you would touch a volitan lionfish or any lion ?? also what would a good size eel do to you if he got a hold of you??
and what if you touched a stingray???
ive always wondered what would happen if you got "tagged" by these animals all of which are common home aquarium animals...say moray eels,, cali rays or blue dots,, or any lion??
no i dont plan on trying it..or having anyone else do it,,im just :eek:

a lion sting would hurt like heck for a while. a stingray could send u to the hospital and an eel would bite u.

If you touched them, nothing. If they stung you thats a different story. I held my rays all the time with no issues. I also used to hand feed my lion.

You could get tagged by a blue ring octopus. You wont feel the bite but you stay wide awake, aware, and paralyzed over the next ten minutes while your body shuts down.
Lions are like bad bee stings, havent been stung but I have used it as an excuse to skip class heheh.
Stingrays are bad not because they are venomous but because of all the bacteria on the stinger. Kind of like when a lizard bites you but worse because it goes much deeper.
Stonefish stings are nothing, all you have to do is hold the affected area in boiling or close to boiling water within a minute or two of the sting to break down the venom, nothing to it heheh.

Lionfish stings hurt pretty badly. The affected area begins to sting a little bit, and then throbs, and then the boiling hot water you have now rushed to put your hand under takes your mind off of it for a few seconds, but you begin to feel a little again when you remove your hand from the burning hot water. Then, as if that is not bad enough, it will make the area swell up a bit. :D (And I am not allergic to bee stings, either...)
Not fun.
Can't comment on the other ones. Hope that I never get stung by em to be able to do so.

ya i hope noone has to get stung by any of them, i was just always curious if anyone took a hit from one of there aquarium animals
