Wow wow wow!

Those are some amazing tanks!!
How about some more details on each of them... Lighting, filtration, age, etc.?
Thats a huge investment in time and money to keep 3 tanks like that. Way to go!

Yes! Give us more info. How else can we try to compete.

Hey guys, Well I been in the hobby now for 10 years, I live in Tampa, brandon,Fl, and the first five years I was into the softies, st that time the SPS was a real challenge, it take commitment , money (lots) and consistancy, So when I finally wanted go try to learn how to keep, grow, learn all kinds of info on to keep stoney's. It really takes more power and calcium for these corals. When I finally started collecting SPS, it was a challenge, it does take super clean pristine water to have the best colors, health, and continues growth.
My first tank in salt water was a 75 gallon, all softies, then I bought a 210, installed it in the wall, got a 120 for a refugium, and a 45 gallon (2 sock filter) sump for the skimmer (ero reef 180)x 2,gen x 100, and 3 400 watts mag ballast hm bulbs 14000k, 2 72 inch dual atinics on icecaps, and a 1/2 horse artica chiller, dsb, lots of LR, this was my first awesome reef tank set up, here's a pic in the front and the back and one of the refugium.

So the 210 was my learning tool, then I moved, and got a few more reef tanks for this house to experience all kinds of different environments and corals as in SPS, its amazing how many different species of corals there are.
So i got a half circle 144 gallon , a 175 gallon bowfront, and a 280 gallon, and turned my 210 into a frag/holding/hospital/quarintine. A

So i got a half circle 144 gallon , a 175 gallon bowfront, and a 280 gallon, and turned my 210 into a frag/holding/hospital/quarantine. and also have a 180 quarantine tank to house the amount of corals i collected,
So now to start with the 280, its the oldest here,3 years, I keep it very simple with out using all the extra gadgets. NO reactors, just daily hand dose, B-ionic 1 and 2 part, esv magnesium. i know i can make my own, but i like the difference that these products do than making your own.it has 4 400 watts mag ballast sunlight supply, light pattern is 10k,12k,10k,12k,reef flux bulbs4 36 inch atinics vho's with icecaps, 40 gallon sump dual sock, euro reef 180 skimmer, and a 1/2 horse chiller.deep sand bed.

the next is the frag 210 tank
it has a large ocean runner skimmer buy aqua medic, a dual sock sump Berlin style, 3 400 watts lights mag ballast,10k reef flux bulbs, and dual 72 inch atinics vho's icecap ballest.

and the 180 quarantine tank, a euro reef skimmer 180, 3 400 watts mh 10k reef flux mag ballast, and dual atinic 72 in ice cap ballast.

so all three of these are in the garage, then the other three large reefs are in the living/dinnig room, its the 144 half circle , the 175 gallon bowfront, and the neww 300 gallon .

I'll start with the 144 half circle, the two 144 and the 175 reef's ran for more than a year untill i put any corals in it, total 14 month running with only snails , crabs, and also the three in the house has no substrate. no sand at all.
Talk about waiting to stock these two. 144 half circle, 2 400 watts electronic ballast, 10k,12k,pattern reef flux bulbs, euro reef skimmer, berlin sump 2 socks, quarter horse chiller artica, tons of big live rock, more surface area for bacteria.this tank is the only one with maxy jets 5 1200 gph, the others has tunzees 6060,6000,6100,with controllers.
