silversides going bad??

Hello all,
Do silversides "go bad" due to many cycles of thawing and re-freezing? I'm near the last few silversides in a pretty large bag and my fuzzy dwarf (~6 months settled in) will eat them and then immediately spit them out. She has done this on 4 different occasions. I'm beginning to think something is wrong with the silversides. I'm going by the fish store tomorrow to get a fresh bag, so I'll know for sure tomorrow night, but was wondering what everyone else's experience has been.

If I were you I wouldn't thaw the whole bag. If it comes in a block just break off a piece and thaw it out then feed. It is food after all so it will go bad and or get freezer burn. I know I wouldn't want to eat a bad piece of meat and neither would our lion.
