Singapore fish dieing???? whats these spots?

I just got home and my singapore fish looks like hes dieing...hes just laying and kinda floating...hes got like white spots and small white blotch on his side. Anyone know what this might be? I just killed some aptasia and turned off the pumps when feeding them. my nitrates are at 5 and nitrites at about 0 can somebody help me????

ohh and I heard that you should give fissh thats sick a fresh water bath..anybody know how to do this? and is that gonna make him better? I dont have another tabk to put him in..should I just dunk him in fresh water and take him out??

Never tried the freshwater dip. I would say this is
probably at the very least stressful to the fish.
The amount of time he would have to soak
in order to kill any parasite especially ich may
kill him to. I believe ich is buried and not on the surface.
So it may be hard to freshwater dip successfully.
What else is in the tank? Corals inverts?

Sorry cant see the spots. Does it look like he was sprinkled
with a salt shaker? Ich is around the size of a grain of
salt and white.

little bit...if you look the spot can be seen on the second picture

If what you are seeing is around the size of maybe
a pencil eraser then I would say not ich. If its the white
patch 1 big splotch then I dont think so. Ich is the
only problem I have any real experience with. It
may be something else.
