Single green chromis?

Will a green chromis really not do well without other chromis? I have 2 clowns and a tailspot blenny. Looking for an active, inexpensive fish that swims all over the water column. My tank is a 29 gal and I may be maxed out soon on space, so I don't think I can add 3 of them. Anybody just keep one of them?

I have had a single for about a yr now. It does fine.
I also have a single pj cardinal.

you have a 70% (made up, but seems reasonable after reading some posts) chance of having all your chromis kill each other off till you have one left anyway, so go ahead and get only one.

i keep 2 cromis together and they seem fine! i had one then added another one and they did chase eachother for a day or two but now they swim all over together and even sleep in the same little den. i guess i never heard of them attacking eachother or read other post on them so i just found it interesting on what you said.
