Actually he has a valid point. All the morons in Congress do is 'talk' about the issues. They never do anything about them. They get paid high six-figures and unlimited perks to sit on their butts doing absolutely nothing but 'discussing' what needs to be changed.
I'm sorry at what point do we have to ignore that he WAS one of those Congressional MORONS that did nothign but talk and never did anything. Hell the guy didn't even vote most of the time. And yet he collected his high six-figure salary and unlimited perks to sit on his butt doing absolutely nothing. And NOW he wants to slam the ones who created the mess. Isn't that sort of an oxymoron since he was one of those?
Come on he isn't the solution for change. He is a picture of what is WRONG with the entire freaking government process. An idiot with NO damn experience gets elected and pushed RADICAL agendas that are not best for this country.
Its more than time to return to reality and remind thse MORONs that they work for US! And not to push radical agendas. Put the vote on these types of social agendas to the people - not to over paid mouth pieces for localized agenda seeking individuals and crazies.

As far as Bush deepening the deficit-yeah. I also know alot of us former Republicans because of Bush and his lackies, which is why the Lord and Savior was elected-the Republicans lost the support of the base. The Democratics
are walking in lemming step with every looney-tune idea coming out of the left-wing. The supposed "Blue Dogs"? The media needs to get their eyes checked, every one of them are as yellow as p*ss.
For the uneducated, a Yellow Dog is a dyed-in-the-wool lefty Democrat who would rather vote for a "yellow dog" than not vote for a Democrat.

Ok ok, I'll agree to that. But for someone to simply imply that Obama has spent the most just isn't right. (not saying you did)
In 2008, The budget deficit increased 1 Trillion dollars. In 2009 the budget deficit to date has increased 2.5 Trillion dollars. Obama's current budget proposal at this point in time for next year will add another 900 billion dollars in debt each year. This is without this Healthcare "reform" bill in place...add that in the mix and who knows where it will be at...but it will go up. So Just in what he has done in these few short months, Over the next 4 years he has already ADDED almost 5 TRILLION dollars to the National debt.
In Bush's last four years he increased the national debt a little over 2 Trillion.....
So, in the same amount of time, Obama has already EXCEEDED Bush's tally and his Presidency is still young. This is just what Obama has in place at this moment. This number can always go up, but will not go down unless he starts cutting ALOT of programs Or increases Taxes DRAMATICALLY ACROSS THE BOARD.
So for him to tell them to sit down and shut up when "they" created this is ridiculous. Since he is doing the same thing at a faster rate.

Let's not forget that the popularity of the democratic congress during Bush's presidency was very very low. They had control of many things and Obama was there too. So before placing this squarely on Bush (who, BTW, was not my favorite guy), let's have some honesty and transparency.
This is a REPRESENTATIVE republic. So if Mr. Obama is fine with saying that at least half the country needs to "shut up" and sit down...so be it. I happen to think most of congress needs to be voted out. i don't really like any of them, but this sort of opiniion from the president is one of the most outrageous things I have heard.
He is supposed to change things. he is supposed to bring people together. Yet I think he has divided the country more than ever. I don't think he cares. I don't think he is thinking gee, maybe I should slow down and really try and understand the fear. No, let's turn people in.
My husband is seeking citizenship, and I really am wondering why. And for the first time I'm thinking...I really need to buy a gun, because this won't end well.
He had such an opportunity, IMO, and has proved himself to be closed minded and indeed not mature enough to listen to the very people he is supposed to lead. What is he afraid of hearing?
I have to hand it to him though...bless him...I would NEVER, EVER have even CONSIDERED voting for Hillary before. Now I'm thinking, dang, Hillary would be great.

(oh, and he has also made me angry enough to even post in a thread like this, which I normally avoid... :p )

I am beginning to hear other non political types getting vocal about their displeasure with not just Obama but government in general. It might not end all that badly after all.
