sixline acting erratic

I have a sixline wrasse that is acting very erratic. He rubs his nose on the front glass and like swims around freaking out. He used to swim around all my live rock looking for food. But doesn't do that anymore. I'm assuming it because there are no copepods for him to eat. But I feed pellets, freeze dried brine shrimp, and frozen mysis shrimp. What could be causing him to wig out?

Yea I forgot to mention he goobles any food I put in there like crazy. So do my 2 clown fish. I just checked my levels today. Everything is fine. He has been acting like this for almost a month. Still looks very healthy and colorful too.

hmm not that i know much about any of this, but if your waters are good and he eats good. and if he is as you say healthy looking and colorful then im not sure there is much to worry about.
mayby you have another fish thats picking on him or somehting? the only other thing i can suggest is if you are all out of pods you can buy some in a jar at your lfs, just make sure its dark when you add them or your fish will eat them all up before they have a chance to get into the rocks.

Typically, Sixlines are just very active fish. They don't stay in one spot and hover. It is normal for them to dart around the tank and in/out of the rocks. Unless this is just a recent behavior that he has just started, I would think that this is normal.

Thanks for all your response. I do know they are active fish. I was just wondering if anyone else saw there sixline act like this. I'm not really that worried to much because of how good he looks and how good the water is. Oh well. Thanks again.
