OK. I can afford a 12gal eclipse tank or a 29gal tank with fiter and salt and lights. which one is a better deal? which one should I get. I'm leaning towards the 29 gal but needs some pro help.

bigger=better, bigger=easier.
Save your money, wait a while and buy a 55 or 75. You'll be happier.

The bigger the tank, the more fish you can put in it. And the better selection of what you can get.

well 1 u should start with the live rock in the tank
and it depends on what type of lighting it comes with

Look on here and check your local news papers. sometimes you can pick up a while set up pretty cheap. used of course but as long as its in good condition, your good to go. I know locally u can get a 55G with everything for under 300$

On the topic of Big/Small tanks...
Im debating about getting a 30g or a 40g. So if Bigger is better, i should get a 40g? I would buy a 55g but i dont have the space, and i already have a spot for the tank, but it is only 32inches...
