skim on water

I have a 75g 6 month old saltwater, whats the best way to keep the skim off the top of my water.
I'm using 2 whisper filters, added a seaclone 100 skimmer last week. contents are 1 black lion, a red star fish, a black urchin,a bi color angel, dogface puffer,a green wolfe eel(about 8in long)and my guess a soon to be eaten bangi cardinal.
P.S. (nessy)my eel is by far the coolest.

2 options here... 1-get more surface agitation. This will help prevent (but not eliminate) the dust and stuff that settles on the surface of the water causing that film. 2-cover the top of your tank, either with a custom canopy or with the plexi-glass covers that sometimes come with tanks... they can be purchased/ordered through most LFSs. I assume that your whisper filters are hang on style filters, so using the plexi-glass covers might be harder for you, but it is an option.
