Skimmer Always Dirrty

I have it in my fuge and there are definitely bubbles forming in the tube but not creating any foam or anything, the bubbles just fizzle out. i am about to replumb it. right now it is comin from last stage of fuge and returning to last stage of fuge. the water flow is also running thru the chiller on its way to the skimmer, i think thats the problem but place who plummed it said that wasnt the problem. well i think it might be. so this weekend....i am adding its own pump and taking water from the 1st stage of fuge and returning to last stage.

Personally I would not run the skimmer when I am cycling a new tank. Unless I read that wrong. You want that crap in there to help with the cycle. Just my opinion. Is the crud you get out green or is it watery?

Its green, pretty nasty smelling stuff. About the first four weeks of the tanks life it was just water.
