Skimmer Dilema - Need some ideas?

OK folks, my 75g FOWLR needs a new skimmer in the worst way and my sump is only 11.5" x 6.75" but I have huge clearance 29".
Anyone know of a good skimmer that will fit, cause this Berlin Turbo POS has got to go. I thought I could fit a Aqua C Urcin Pro but that 6.75" width screws me every time.
Any help on a good skimmer would really help.

You might want to look into using a coralife super skimmer as a HOB on the side of your sump. I was running out of space in my sump/fuge and this is what I did and has worked really well. I used a css 125 for my 75 gal with a 30 gal sump fuge.

i also dont have room for a skimmer so i am going to be getting a good external skimmer(mrc or mtc not sure which one yet) and a good submersable pump. run the pump with some flex tube from ur sump to your skimmer that will be sitting outside your sump, but higher then your sump, and then just add a return line to go back through your filter....
if that makes sense........fkdsajfkl;dsajfkldsaj!!!!!!!!!!!1

I think I'm going to do just that. Here is my current thought. I think I'm going to get a Aqua C Remora Pro with a large Mag pump and use flex tubing to set the pump in my sump.
I'll hang the Skimmer off the back of my sump. I am concerned about the splashing and bubbles this will create. But i think I'm going to fill my Sump with LR and possible let the skimmer splash down on a filter pad. This might solve all issues of niuse and bubbles as well as add LR under water.
At least thats my plan at the present second :hilarious

im right with you on putting the skimmer outsdie the sump with an internal pump. either that or im just going to get a coralife 220 and hang it on the fuge
