skimmer for 75gal

I am getting things together for my 75gal reef DT, 27gal Sump/Fuge.
Tank do to arrive on 6/15
Any advise on a easy to use skimmer.
I was going to go with a in sump skimmer.
Now I'm thinking of pump and skimmer plumed out side the sump. Pro's? con's?
I'm looking at:
MRC MR-1 Protein Skimmer,
AquaC EV-120 Protein Skimmer
Any ideas for a good skimmer for around $300.00
would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

the best advice to your 300 dollar question is... picking out a skimmer is very subjective to the advice a skimmer owner can give you !
theres loads of skimmers out there all saying their's is the best product on the market. that leaves us to scratch our heads and wonder.
i've made my own skimmers with wood airstones which have all worked beautifully cept for having to replace the airstone every month or so. i'm using a Prizm Delux skimmer HOB on my sump / refugium on my 55 reef right now. i've installed a secondary quarter inch line right from the sump inlet piping to the Prizm's surface skimmer cup... eventually the whole 55 g. tank water goes thru the skimmer.
what is needed in any skimmer is a zillion microbubbles... which do not find their way into the tank but disperse in the sump... and a chamber big enough to churn water / bubbles efficiently. whatever advice you are given, the idea is to get a skimmer rated at twice the capacity of the tank you are skimming.

Any one have the Red Sea C-Skim 1200 Protein Skimmer?
Is it noisy, easy to maintain?
Is it possible to have too strong of a skimmer, as it removes some useful nutrients?
