Skimmer for a 72 gallon bowfront

I am slowly gathering equipment for my 72 gallon tank. Up next is the skimmer. quality is much more important than the price right now. i have a 29 gallon sump/fuge, not sure if i want the skimmer to be an in sump, or HOB on the sump.
what are your suggestions?
