Skimmer help needed

Looking for an easy?.. solution...
I had a Red Sea Prizm skimmer (hang on tank) I have been using for about a year. I only have a 29 gallon tank and it seemed to serve the purpose. I was satisfied. I just rebuilt the hood to improve my lighting. The skimmer won't really work (or Hang) the way I had it in the past (on the side of the tank). My new hood will not accomodate anything on the front or sides. The back has limited space since, this is taken up with fans, wiring, in/out tubing for a Fluval 304 pump/filter. Looking at skimmers, I see either hang-on, or types that are used with sump/fuge systems. I would like to find some way to set up a skimmer, WITHOUT setting up a sump fuge situation at this point. I have very little room under the tank to set up a major system. The Fluval is new, so I don't want to give that up just yet. I guess the ideal thing, would be a skimmer that I can keep under the tank, with minimal extra equipment or space. Maybe just an intake hose in the tank, and an output hose in the tank, with the skimmer being hidden under the tank with minimal space if thats possible. I could probably fit a 5 gallon tank below to sit a skimmer in. If I need to hook a SMALL pump that could drive it all, that would be good. I'm looking for something 150.00 or less, and an easy set up for now, I can do a DIY, but I do not really want to spend a lot of time and money in the situation for such a small tank. any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated... clues?
Thanks,
Bill

Just get a good, basic airstone skimmer and hook it up inline with the fluval, preferably on the output side.

Wouldn't making any ajustment to the skimmer as far as flow for proper foaming kinda screw up the output of the fluval? I'm kinda hesitant to cut my new pump lines and have it not work. Have you tried this method? thanks...

hmm......... I guess I was tired last night, I didn't think of that. What you could do is "Y" off to the skimmer and the "Y" it back in to the line.
