skimmer help

I cant seem to get my skimmer set any more it worked for a few months a while ago now all it does is fill my tank with bubbles. its a berlin it is in my sump. If it was to close to my return pump to the tank would this cause this to happen? I have been contantly messing with the dial and air lin but nothing helps

Have you taken it apart and given it a thourough cleaning?

yup i just finished that aliong with vacum and water change what a mess lost about 5 gallons from sump onto floor needless to say dont plug in the heater while everything is wet

ouch ill remember that one
