Skimmer help

Please help me. I need a protein skimmer for my 90g reef tank. I tried one (can't recall the brand) but at 20" tall. I could not remove the cup from the top of the unit (in sump). My lfs is trying to sell me a Red Sea Prizm Skimmer that is rated for up to 100 gallons--he wants $239.00 for it. I have seen it online for 89.00. My question is with height being an issue, what is the best skimmer out there for a 90 gallon tank?
Please help--I am desperate!!!!

I just remebered the name of the 20" I tried. It was a Current USA Fission Power Skimmer (rated for 220g) I found that they make a smaller version 16" that is rated for 100g. Does anyone have any experience with this model/company?

9005 and 9010 are the same, only differnaceis the collection cup. I've had mine (9010) for about 2 weeks (maybe 3?) And I come home tonight to find that the pump is fried. Not sure how it happened, going to probably switch to another brand if my LFS can't replace it. (Worked great when it worked FWIW..)

Take a look at the Aqua C Remora hang On Skimmers... Takes out a ton of green nasty gook from my 55.... Got green stuff within 3-4 days....
