I have a Seaclone 100 in my sump under my 75, but it's pretty loud! I'm finally moving into a studio, and I'm a little concerned that the noise will be much more noticeable and irritating when I'm trying to sleep.
It seems like the noise is coming from the air intake (most of the noise stops when I close off the valve), but the intake obviously needs to be open. I used a sponge to muffle the overflow of water from it, but that's not where most of the noise is coming from.
The skimmer and sump are already behind doors under my stand, but it's a pretty substantial noise.
Any help or suggestions?!?! Please!!
