Right now I have a Penguin 350 in my 75 gal tank with a power head, but I was thinking about getting a Fluval 404 for it now and getting a skimmer later for is my filter good enough now, so I should get a skimmer now? And what kinds would your recommend that are inexspensive? Thanks!

NO i dont have my skimmer yet but i just started my tank up a little over a week ago and ive also been asking about skimmers and for the last few months ive heard only one person thats had success with a sea clone 100 and ive heard from hundreds of people about them so odds are your not going to one a sea clone 100 im saving up for a
ASM G-1 PROTIEN SKIMMER thats going to cost $250 from my LFS for my sump/fuge tank and thats going to be a thousand times better than the seaclone for only $150 more and it'll last alot long so in the long run i think a better skimmer will actually save you money
just remember you get what you pay for , which of course isnt always true but 99% of the time it is
just type in seaclone skimmer under the search and im sure there will be alot of threads on them people talk about them all the time thats why im definatly not gettng one
hope this helps

you can go with a cpr which imo is just as good as an aquac remora. The price is a little cheaper.

look for a used aqua C remora, or a used bak pak, I like the remora better, but the CPR is still a good skimmer, you can find them used all the time.

Get a skimmer. 75gallon is large for alot of Hang On Back (HOB) skimmers. You might want to look into AquaC Remora Pro. The regular Remora is barely good for a 55gallon (IMO, I had a 55 w/ a regular Remora).
How large is your wallet? In-Sump skimmers is ALOT better than HOBs for their price.
