I have now seen both the bermuda and msx. I just got my bermuda today. Actually they have a similar design. The biggest difference is how they make the bubbles. The biggest issue with the MSX is that the mesh will have to be replaced over time. Its a little more hands on than the bermuda imo. Both are great skimmers. Not just good but great. I would still buy a bermuda. both cost about the same. So good luck. you wont go wrong with either one. This is my opinion.

this is from there website "Anti-clogging SCHLETZ INJECTOR (patent pending) " IS also uses a bubble diffuser plate as does the msx series skimmers. It pulls in a ton of air as well. Alot of great skimmers mentioned here. I have done alot of research on all of the available skimmers for me my new 75g AGA build. I didnt want to spend more than $400 on skimmer. So it left me pretty open. I bought what I thought would be the most reliable and one that would take the least amount of tweaking. I want to set it and forget it basically. It will empty into a waste collector. And of course I will have to clean it. A few others as well but that was just me.

I have to add an AquaC EV-180 to the list I added one to my tank a few months ago and haven't had to touch it since other than to clean the collection cup a couple times a week.

I have had a aquaC ev 120. It was a good skimmer as well. There are alot of good skimmers. But the ones I have mention I believe to be the new age of skimmer design. I think that they have more engineering in them and are just a little more efficient. None of the ones anyone has said would be a bad choice. Again just my opinion. But I try to give you the most fair and unbiased descision I can give. I am not going to say mine is the best because its what I have. I just want you all to know that. I would say if I had something and thought it was poo..... Good luck and I hope that I was able to help.

If money isn't an issue I would go with these in this order.
Bubble King (mini 160)
H&S (A150)
Deltec (AP600)
ATI (BM160)

Euroreef...I'm a strong believer in You get what you pay for, and the skimmer is probably the most important part of your filtration

Aqua C EV 180, like someone said in an earlier post, you rarely have to do anything other than empty the cup.....can't go wrong with ASM either.
