Skimmer Question?

How much waist should a good skimmer be producing in a 75 gal tank with 4 fish, numerous crabs and snail, starfish, mushrooms, aninomes and soft coral ?
In the sump type of skimmer.

Really depends on several factors....what brand/size of skimmer......and what is available in the water for it to remove.

Also it would depend on if you Modded the skimmer.

I have a sea clone skimmer. It doesn't appear to produce much waist. My nitrates seem to stay aroung 20 or eventually return to 20 after a 20 gal water change. I thought a better skimmer might be in order.

A lot of your skimmer waist will depend on your fish load and feeding habits. I have a 220 FOWLR and a 110 reef and they produce a cup every couple days but I am heavy handed on the food and my FOWLR tank is a tad overcrowded. More waist equals more waist.
