Skimmer Question

All of a sudden my CPR skimmer has basically quit making bubbles. It still produces, but very little with some big "burps" of big bubbles. I took the pump apart and cleaned it out and cleaned the air tubes but no luck. Any ideas anyone!:help:

im not sure, but does it use an airstone?? is it possible that the airstone needs replaced? just a thought...

I have the same skimmer and have had this problem when I was cleaning it. try one of two thinks first make sure the back filter that is at the end of one of the tubes that id conected to the pump and I would also try turning the adapter that all the air line tubes are conected to. that might have been comfusing but if you see where all the tubes are conected on the powerhead try turning it and pushing it in.

I had allready replaced the filter with a screw type air valve because the one that came with it got clogged with dust. I just turned the plate and it seems like it is working better now. Thanks, Rusty

Was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem with there pump turning on and off. I have a new berlin classic with a rio 3100 pump which runs for a while then stops then go's back on etc.. I would appreciatte any input in the matter. Thanks
