skimmer w/reef ready overflow?

starting a 92g corner tank that is reef ready, aga, w/factory overflow. i also have a drilled 20g long tank yhat was set up in a lfs. it is drilled in back glass one high and one low. i have been researching for weeks on this site and would like to use this 20g for sump. my question is , do i still need a skimmer if i have an overflow?thanks in advance and if i do what should i buy?

Im not an expert, but yes you do need a skimmer. The skimmer is one of the most important items in your tank. You will be surprised what it removes. I have a 40 gallon sump for my 55g with a Coralife 65 skimmer

just to be on the safe side, get that power stripe up and away from your sump. you never know!!!

eddie-how deep in the water is your skimmer sitting? Looks like its in sump not a hang on back right? I dont know how deep of water to have it sit in.

At the moment its 7" deep. You want a couple of inches above your pump, I may be wrong. Mine has a Min and max water line.
