skimmer?

anyone go without a protein skimmer?

im running my tank without a skimmer. Skimmers are optional IMO, if you do weekly 20%waterchanges and keep close eye on parameters you sould be ok.

Yup, no skimmer for me either. Just a weekly water change and good tank husbandry and a skimmer becomes optional

I ran with out one for 3 years, added one sunday... Love it... My water is clearer, and my corals seem to be opening a bit better also. Personal opinion, but for 33 bucks, what can it really hurt?

Where and what kind of skimmer did you find for 33 bucks?
