Hi I am looking for a good Protein Skimmers for my 46 gal bow front tank. I need one that will fit into a 10 gl tank. Would like to spend around 75$ my be up grating to a bigger tank hoping for a 100 gl.
What ever you do. Do not buy a cheap skimmer. I did not listen, and got a prizm. I regret it every day. If you can't afford a good one now then save your money. Do not settle for a low grade skimmer!

Ditto that! Had a prizm and it was nothing but a headache. Thought it was normal until I got my Aqua C Remora. Don't know if it will work for you as it is 18" tall.

Had to constantly adjust the water flow so the water level was just below the O-ring as per the instructions. Somedays i'd look and the collection cup was full of water, not skimmate. Other times the water level would be way below the O-ring. Noisy too.

get a good skimmer save yourself some money
Me too! I ended up giving that thing away. This is sound advice, get a good skimmer. This is one area that you do not want to "go cheap" But thats just me...
i have a Jebo on my second tank, it works great, thick green skimate in the cup. I was skeptical, but it bought it and Im very happy with its performance
