Skipper Goby huh????

I bought what was sold to me as a Skipper Goby.I think their technically called something else.Does anyone know what that is?

O.K. he looks alot like this but he's more blackish speckled and beige i guess.he blends right in on the sand.Oh and he sifts the sand.

Nope not at all.he kinda long but the front end is thicker.He really looks like the one i linked to but his colors are a bit different.

Nope that one is to brown.Mine is mainly beige/creamish with blackish speckles.His fines and body look just like the pic though

oh thats odd.... Well if you scroll through those center pictures, you should be able to find one that looks close.. They have tons of pictures so just quick scroll and see if you see any gobies that look similar...

The fish thats more commonly called Skipper ( rockskipper ) is a Lawnmower Blenny or as said a dragonet.....sifters are mainly in the genus Valenciennea, Amblygobius. You can google those and see if you find one simular...

The Decorator Sand Goby was one of the pictures I was trying to post earlier that didnt work. Also look at the Ornate Shrimpgoby, as that was one of the others...
