LOL, sorry guys. I was letting it cycle for about 3 weeks now and I got my diatom bloom in the last few days. All measurements look pretty good. I plan on buying a cleanup crew today after work consisting of 3 blue legs, 3 red legs and 10 turbos. Im also concerned because it looks like i am getting some hair algae. Like RUAround suggested to me, I will use RO or Ro/DI water next time because this time I used tap water straight from the faucet. Ill post pics tonight.

ouch!!!! never use tap water! Around here there are allot of store that sell r/o water. Get some 5gal jugs and find a store with a r/o water machine and fiier-up!! I pay only 1.25 for 5 gallons at Ultra Foods in Joliet. Also i hope you read this b4 you bby you'r turbo's, I would suggest only 1 turbo nad mix the rest with others you like, I did the same thing and got 10 tubo's the problem with them is they knock everything over ! had like 3 major avalavches due to them. So I ended up trading 9 of them for astera snails'. If you are set on turbo's just get the small one's trust me it's easier in the long run, post some pic's when you can. Good to have ya back!

My apologies for not posting photos Monday night. I need to lower my salinity a little and may consider buying a RODI unit, not sure since i might setup a second nano. Think the tap water produced a very strong diatom bloom (brown algae along with some hair). Im going to the LFS after work to pick up RO water for water changes and maybe some more snails/crabs.
On Monday I picked up a yellow clown goby (tiny), a peppermint shrimp, some turbos, a few blue legs and red legs. I promise to post some pics tonight.

Sorry for the delay guys.
I was thinking of adding another clown, what do you think? Or get a 6-line? I would like to start adding some coral but Im starting to feel the pinch of my low salary with this crappy job. My false perc doesnt have the thick black edging ive seen on other false percs.. could mine be a true perc?
I lost the two peppermint shrimp i had in there, think because my salinty has been at .1024. Not sure. I thought they had molted but i havent seen them at all for at least a week.
My fish didnt eat the dried nori or the dried? mysis that i bought on the 'big' site but they love the flake food.
Id like to buy some zoos and eventually frogspawn and toadstool. Can I buy a 5 polyp zoo and frag them to make more?
I also found a guy trying to sell his 24g NC for $150 with stand, LR and fish... includes hair algae...he hasnt gotten back to me.

I had a baseball practice game saturday in bolingbrook and had thought about driving down there but had other errands to run for an event saturday night. Im planning on getting another clown and passing on the 6-line.
Seeing as I dont plans for Sunday I may head down that way, if i do ill give you a call.

Well, I'm sad to say that yesterday when I came home from work the clown I added last week, to give the other clown company, passed on. Acutally im not sure which clown passed.
Honestly not sure what happened. Seemed like both of the clowns were getting along and I didnt see any aggression between them or from the royal gramma. I found his tail fin caught in the intake grill. I would highly doubt his tail got caught in there while he was alive. All of the fish were taking flakes just fine.
Should I attempt adding another clown or try another fish like a six-line?
