skunk cleaner shrimp and clam?

anyone out there hv them in their tank? 1 of my cleaners always seem to be picking the inside of the clam, making the clam to close up. i feel this is stressing my clam, since my clam cant get enough light. its the durasa clam this cleaner is picking at.

Ive heard of this and once they start, they dont stop and you need to get rid of that cleaner! unfortunately

oh man. i hv no where to put him. if i put him in my 110, my lion will eat him for sure.

You could take him to your lfs and see if they'll trade. If worse comes to worst most lfs's will at least take them off your hands for you.

sorry to say the clam died this morning. i got him last friday. not sure if its the shrimps that killed him, or he wasnt well to begin with.

He might have been in decline and your shrimp sensed it and was eating him alive.. Sorry for your loss.

i am not gonna get another clam in the near term. dont wanna spend another $50 to see it go wasted.
