Skunk clown shaking

Hi there....I'm just wondering if anyone knows what would cause a skunk clown to shake? I've read that sometimes they'll do that when it's a male and female, but I only have one. Water is OK except for the calcium and pH. Calcium is in the high 600's and pH was 7.6 I think. We're doing water changes like every other day to get the calcium down and were told not to add a buffer to bring the pH up until the calcium was stable. Some of you are probably having heart palpitations right now....So is the skunk clown pretty much dying right now?

so if it's pH shock, then is lowering the calcium in order to add a pH buffer the only option at this point?

Your PH is going to have a greater affect on your fish than the calcium will. I would adjust your PH immediately.......and do it slowly. To fast and it will shock your fish further.
