I have some clowns in my refugium and since the lights are on 24 hours. Does anyone think this will mess with the fish and there sleeping? eventually leading to lower health?
Same as with humans sleep depreviation can cause serious stress related issues. I'd consider keeping your lights on a reverse schedule from your display or remove the clowns from the refugium.:thinking:
A lot of hobbyists do keep the lights for the refugium on 24/7...but in those situations there are no fish that will suffer from the lack of a normal day/night pattern.Fish ...coral...and most crabs & snails will do best with a regular day/night cycle.:thinking:
