Sleeping??

Do fish sleep? I have always wondered this question ever since i was a small child.

My sailfin tang lays on his side against a rock every night after all the lights are off in the room and tank. My dottyback sleeps in a hole in my lr and my clowns just stay around the top of the water.

SIMM - sure a fish could drown - take one out of its natural environment of salt water and watch it drown on the over abundance of water .....

when we briefly had the trigger it slept on its side under a rock formation we had set up. the clown hide behind a big rock. i've never seen the big damsel stay still or stay in one place...he must sleep when i do.

I have this giant conch shell in my tank and my yellow tang and tomato clown both sleep in there togeter.......hmm...
