Sliming Frogspawn

Is it normal when you feed a frogspawn for it to send out streams of slime? I fed mine directly with some invert food tonight and when I did it sent out slime like stuff that caught a lot of food, but then it just let it go and the slime floated away?? Do they not like my food??

Its not what I really consider a frogspawn. Looks like a branching hammer and a nice one at that.:D Its an Euphyllia non the less. Im not to keen on invert food. They dont really take to like meaty foods. IMO it doesnt need any real form of spot feeding. However Live phyto to the whole tank would do some good.

I kinda thought that too, but lfs(whom I trust) told me it was a frogspawn. I feed DT's twice a week to the whole tank is that enough?
