I've been cycling my tank for 3 weeks. I see a small 1" black or dark brown clam. It opens up and moves in and out of a crevice. I've never seen it move but somedays its deep in the hole some days it's closer. It looks like its coverd with coarse brown hair. It looks like a fresh water clam. when it is open it looks like it's empty. It only opens a little.What is it?
I hope it survives. It's near the top of my tank near the power head.
