Small bubbles in water

I can't seem to get rid of some very very small bubbles in my tank. I have tried filter pads in my sump, over my pump intakes and they still continue.
The tank (75 gal reef)is a new setup, but I have experienced them in my year old FO setup since I moved. The reef tank has seen nothing but RO/DI water and is almost through the cycle (set-up for several weeks 90# LR 100#+ LS.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have any powerheads? One of my powerheads will blow small bubbles into the water once and awhile.

depending on your set up..I will assume that you have a skimmer running, the bubble could be coming from the skimmer. Also, if you use a lot of stress guard or water conditioner especially in a new set up you will get tiny bubbles. Turn off your skimmer for a while 2 or 3 hours and the bubles might go away. I had the same thing is my new tank, I am running a cyclone bio filter and when I reduced the stress coat and adjusted the water level on the skimmer the bubbles went away.

Not currently running power heads and the bubbles are not comming from my skimmer (present even with skimmer turned off). I also have not added any chem to the tank. I am using a CPR overflow box and seam to recall something about bubbles from them. I would sure like to see these things gone.

Kodi,
You didn't mention algae in your tank. Maybe the air bubbles are the result of algae on the surfaces producing oxygen. Can be likely gases from photosynthesis becoming trapped under the algae, and other biological material that has formed on the rock. Once you get all of the algae under control this problem will stop. Of course, if you have this problem...

You could also have a loose connection somewhere with your plumbing. If you use tygon check all the connections to see if you are sucking in air somewhere.
For all that rock, you should be running a few powerheads for circulation.
Good Luck...

I have isolated the bubbles down to my overflow box. The line that goes down to my sump dumps tons of these little suckers into the water. They are then being picked up by my pumps and circulated throughout the tank. Has anyone else experienced this with a CPR overflow box?
All my fittings are tight, and I do have 2 powerheads ordered for additional circulation. However, my flow is pretty good - over 1500 gph.
As far as whats wrong with the bubbles, besides looking bad I understand they can be bad for some corals.
