LOL! Pictures will come soon enough. They are doing well in QT. They are already eating mysis and cube meat.
The female is TINY and the male is just an inch bigger than my clarion. He has some lympho right now but looks good otherwise.
Ill post pics soon..

Here they are in all their glory. The male has a slight case of Lymph, but they are both eating like champs and have already paired up quite nicely...starting in acclimation

Nice looking triggers, I wish that I could get some, my wife would kill me if I spent so much money. Maybe one day if I hit the lottery.

Hey Chris. Happy to see they arrived in good health. Looks like our friend did a great job caring, shipping, etc with great pair. Many of the X-hatch pairs you see in LFS's are all beat up and show signs of de-compression problems. No signs whatsoever with those beauties!!! Good luck with them. Happy to see you got them and they will have a nice big home if that display ever comes to fruition. Happy New Year Chris. Did Tenecor finally get on the ball yet!!!! T

Very nice Chris, they will be a great addition to your 500....A Clarion and a pair of Crosshatch is pretty tough to beat.

Throw in a Conspic and you may just be cooler than Angelman

Beautiful! My favorite fish! If I had a big enough tank I would go for a Crosshatch pair for sure.

Yeah they are in good health. The attack mysis and squid. I am hoping to move them onto pellets within the week. I will also start to administer Prazi once I am sure that they are eating everything.
Tenecor will be shipping the tank Wednesday this week. This basically set me back 6 months
oh well...my 180 will be a nice big QT :)

LOL! I wish I could match him. I have been trying to get my hands on a good conspic, but I will hold off till the big tank is up and running.
I had a pair of goldflakes lined up, they then changed to a goldflake and a Declivis butterfly, then changed to none once I took a backseat to the large retailers

I will have to wait a couple of months.

Hey Chris. As for the Conspic. Did the person who foubd you the X-hatches talk to you about the Conspics being available? I was going to bite but I am moving Feb 1st so could not go for it. Great to hear they are doing well for you. T

Awesome stuff Chris.
'Nother brain picking question. Do you think the age/size difference of your pair, could be a possible explantion for them 'be closer' then a typical trigger pair? I've seen, and I'm sure you've seen plenty of 10" males with an 8" female Crosshatces, and they have basically no interaction? Other then allowing each other into the same cave, perhaps...

I actually contacted EZMarine as well as Sean about the Conspic. They were not as available as publically anounced. They were all preorders and the ones left were WAAAY too big. I am going to get a conspic but it will be about a year or so before I do it.

I have no clue as to why they are so close. They were like that right out of the bag. She actually taught the male to eat. She went flying out of hiding and he noticed and followed. My wife loves the female because she is tiny. After having these guys I think it would be very hard to get anything larger.
